Considering the need for online educational necessities, 21 savages held the fifth annual “Issa Back 2 School Drive” where he gave the young students, Laptops, Free Wi-Fi, and backpacks that were filled with all essentials supplies, facemasks, and financial literacy tools kits.
21 Savage held this donation drive through his Leading by Example Foundation and by a partnership with Juma.org, Black Voters Matter, M.O.B.B (March on Ballot Boxes), and Chime.
The Weeknd
The Weeknd paid back the community by donating an amount of $1,000,000 to the COVID-19 relief in June. Out of $1,000,000, $500,000 were gone to MusiCares and the rest of the money went to the front-line healthcare workers performing their duties from Scarborough Health Network.
FKA Twigs
Apart from big and small business, many individual earners were living in disastrous times due to the coronavirus pandemic. This includes the sex workers in the United Kingdom.
FKA Twigs launched a fundraiser for all the sex workers whose ways for income were halted due to the coronavirus outbreak around the globe.
The GoFundMe platform was used to collect money for East London Strippers Collective, Lysistrata, and SWARM Collective.

The famous singer shared a roundup of organizations that she has been supporting during the coronavirus outbreak. The organizations include The Bail Projects, The Mental Health Fund, and Fund for Families.
Billy Ray Cyrus
Billy announced the way he was going to help the community on his social media profile. Billy posted on his Instagram that he will be giving 20,000 masks to native communities in partnership with Genies. This announcement was made at a time when Native American and coronavirus virtual town hall was conducted.
Shakira
Shakira stepped up in the process of giving back to the community during the hard times. The singer donated thousands of N95 masks and ventilators for health care workers and people suffering from the virus, respectively. The mask were distributed among the health care workers in Barranquilla, Colombia, which is her hometown. The mayor of her hometown, Jaime Pumarejo, even took to social media to thank Shakira for her gesture.
Eminem
The rapper has always been upfront in helping the community in times of crisis. Even in the coronavirus outbreak, Eminem announced that he will be donating an “extra pair” of his Emin X Carharttan Air Jordans to collect funds for COVID-19 relief.
In earlier April, the rapper also donated cups of “Mom’s Spaghetti” to health workers in Detroit-area.
Lady Gaga
The superstar took to the social media platform, Twitter, to tell her followers and fans that she has donated to America Food Fund. She quoted that she did this action to directly support @FeedingAmerica and @WCKitchen so that the organization can feed people in need of those who are in crisis due to coronavirus spread.
